Joining the UK Chapter
People may join the UK Chapter by using the form at https://systemdynamics.org.uk/join-the-uk-chapter/
Membership of the chapter is an agreement to receive emails from the chapter. Membership is free. We normally send three newsletters a year plus occasional emails advertising our annual conference and other events. You may opt out of receiving emails or leave the chapter at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each email or by emailing membership@systemdynamics.org.uk with your request.
Our membership list collects email; name; postal address; affiliation; whether you are a practitioner, academic, student etc; whether you have attended our annual conference. We do not collect phone numbers. Data is collected and stored by the MailChimp marketing platform and is governed by their rules and privacy https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/
We do not share your data with any third party, not even other chapters and groups of the System Dynamics Society. We will only communicate with you by email. We will not communicate with your postal address unless you have given us prior consent via email. Apart from name and email, other data is collected for statistical purposes only.
Contact forms and Email
You may contact the chapter using the form https://systemdynamics.org.uk/contact-us/ or by any of the emails advertised on the website. The form only requires name and email. The information is not retained on our website and is only shared members of the chapter’s policy council. Any information you give is treated as private, and will not be shared with any third party, unless you have given us permission.
Submission Forms
The website has a number of submission forms for posters, presentations, prizes and papers, in connection to our annual conference. This data is treated exactly the same as the contact forms above.

This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
